ABOUT Madelyn

My name is Madelyn Bloom, and I am a Mental Health Counselor.

I am a true believer that a therapist's job is to provide a calm, supportive, and understanding space for each client. I strive to allow every person to come in as their authentic self, and have them leave feeling heard, seen, and valued. I utilize techniques from Person Centered, DBT, ACT, and Strengths Based therapy modalities. My approach to therapy is rooted in the importance of relationships and connections, as well as highlighting the client’s inherent strength and resilience. As a therapist, I want to promote connection with the outdoors as a form of therapy, allowing people to explore the mental, emotional, and physical benefits of time in nature. I am confident in my baseline approach of meeting each client with understanding, support, and compassion. I see clients of all ages and I have experience in non-directive play therapy to help me support the needs of young clients. I look forward to going on this journey with you toward growth, healing, and exploration!
